Effective communication is the key to build engaging audience. Emojis or symbols are one the most effective ways to convey your thoughts with emotions as they make instant connection with your readers.

If used in a right way you can capture user attention with simple strategies. For example, if you include ๐Ÿ“ (notes symbol), it instantly indicates reader that this is something that you need to note or bookmark.

One other strategy that works in building engaging audience is to use symbols like Like (๐Ÿ’›) or Tweet (๐Ÿฆ) at the end of this article, which subconsciously signals your brain ( right side memory as they call it) with at-least a question should I like this blog / tweet?

When writing blogposts (especially with Hashnode and many other places), one main challenge that I always have is, there is no option to add emoji symbols in the post editor.

Also there are thousands of emoji symbols out there but sometimes, I am really not sure which one to use and which emojis are most effective being a developer / programmer. So I started shortlisting the emojis by observing different types of blogs and tweets shared by various top content creators and classified them based on the categories especially that can be used for tech blogs or tweets.
